Hack a WEP Encryption
Breaking any encryption involves knowing a few things. First, you have to know that there is an encryption scheme. Secondly, you must know how encryption works.
- Get a packet sniffing program compatible with your Operating System. Aircrack-ng or Wireshark (formerly Ethereal) for Linux and Windows are popular programs.
- Set up a wireless access point to use in this experiment, preferably one that you created. Otherwise, you will need the network administrator's agreement.
- Allow the packet sniffer some time to get a good sampling of the WEP encrypted packets. In other words, you have to give the program something to work with and match. Public and private keys can be deciphered by matching the packets for similarities.
- You will probably be able to find already compiled versions of most programs you will need.
- http://sectools.org/ lists the top 75 network security tools, and some others.
- Many sniffing programs such as the above-mentioned Wireshark as well as Airsnort and Kismet are available as source code. You will need some background in compiling source code for Linux or Windows to use Airsnort or Kismet. Ethereal comes with an installer or you can download the source code.

Hack a Playstation Portable

This is a guide on how to alter a PSP by downgrading its software.
ONLY WORKS ON PSP SOFTWARE VERSIONS 2.0 AND BELOW
1. Unzip the files MPHDowngrader.zip and EBOOT_1.50.zip. Use a program such as WinRAR, or WinZip. These files are the ones that shall be detrimental in hacking this hardware.
2. Take the USB Cable and connect it to the Playstation portable as well as the computer. Once the connection is set up, select the Start button, and the click My Computer. The connected PSP should be shown as a new removable disk, this is where you will need to browse into. When you first click to open up the PSP on your computer, you'll be in what's called the root menu.
3. Copy over to your PSP the following files to this location in the root folder, they are extracted from the previously unzipped MPH Downgrader folder, Index.dat and h.bin which should both be moved into your root directory. Once this is done, open up the PSP folder and then enter into the Photo folder. Here, you will copy overflow.tif over, also removed from the MPH Downgrader folder, keeping it in the Photo directory and not in a sub directory.
4. Backtrack to the PSP directory and then this time enter into the Game directory. If there is not already, create a folder called UPDATE. Open up the new UPDATE folder, then copy EBOOT.PBP into this folder from your computer. Disconnect the USB connection from the computer and plug the power adapter into the PSP.
5. Deselect the USB connection and then go to the Photo icon on your PSP and scroll through the pictures to get to the overflow.tif file. Two strings of letters/numbers will appear as if something has gone wrong but this is perfectly normal.
6. Move over to the Game icon within upon the PSP and scroll down to memory stick. Select it and you should see the 1.5 update. Select it and start it up. Go through it and follow the prompts. When the update reaches 99% it will crash and show an error but THIS IS OKAY…DO NOT PANIC. Once again press the power switch up until it fully turns off. Now, turn the PSP back on. You will get another error. Just press the "O" button and it will restart after rebuilding the system data.
7. Figure out what to add with your brand new open-ended BIOS. If you search the web you will find a plethora of different options
* NesterJ (NES Emulator) v1.11 (402KB)
* v1.11 Ruka's Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator for the PSP.
* Monkey64 v1.0 (232KB)
* v1.0 The first N64 emulator for the Sony PSP. Written by PSmonkey.
* Homer's RIN v3.2 (623KB)

Hack a Coke Machine
Heres another way to Hack a Coke Machine:
Want to dazzle your friends with your technical prowess while checking out the profitability of a vending machine route? Read on. Most Coke machines built since the late 1990s can be "hacked" with a simple access code. Once you enter the code, you can find out all kinds of information about the machine's sales.
1. Find a Coke machine that has an LED screen. The small screen will typically scroll a message such as "Ice Cold Cokes." If the machine's LED display simply displays the price, the steps below may not work.
2. Enter the access code by using the drink selection buttons. The default access code is 4, 2, 3, 1, but the buttons aren't numbered. They will either say nothing or have pictures of "Coke, "Diet Coke," "Sprite," and other Coca-Cola products on them.
* If the buttons are in a column, button 1 is the top one. Button 2 is the second one from the top, and so on.
* If they are in a grid or other format, button 1 is the top left one. Button 2 is the one directly to the right of that, and so on.
3. Scroll through the menu to find out information about the machine. Once you enter the correct access code, the message on the LED screen will change. Typically it will say "EROR," but on some machines it may simply display a number. Use the buttons to navigate the menu.
* Press button 1 at any time to return to the previous menu or to exit the menu to go back to normal mode.
* Press button 2 to scroll up through the selections.
* Press button 3 to scroll down through the selections.
* Press button 4 to select the displayed menu option.
Menu Options:
1. EROR: This menu option displays error messages for the machine, including problems that occurred with the refrigeration system, the vending mechanism, the bill changer, and the bill validator. To see error messages, press the select button (button 4) when the display shows EROR, and then scroll through to see specific errors. Select an individual error to see more details. Generally if only one type of error has occurred you won't be able to scroll through other error options.
2. CASH: This option allows you to see the machine's total historical cash intake, as well as the resettable cash counted for each drink selection. Press the select button when the the LED display shows CASH. This will show you the historical cash counted by the machine. Note that it will include fractions of a dollar, such that if it displays 1352425, the historical cash count is $13,524.25. Use the scroll buttons (2 or 3) to navigate to the cash counts for each slot (each beverage selection). The number displayed will show first the slot number and then the revenue for that slot number since the last time the counter was reset. In some machines, it will be preceded by the letters CA or SL (for "slot").
3. SALE: This option allows you to see the machine's historical total number of sales, as well as the resettable number of sales for each drink selection. It works like the CASH menu above, except that the numbers displayed reflect the number of beverages sold.
4. RTN: Sometimes labeled EXIT, this option allows you to exit the menu completely and return the machine to normal mode. Press the select button to exit.
Alternate Menu:
On machines with two panels of six buttons on each side, the same 4-2-3-1 code will access the Electronic Counter for the machine. After accessing this menu, press 1 to see the total lifetime sales, 2 for the total lifetime items sold, 3 for a breakdown of items sold of each selection, 4 for a breakdown of cash generated for each selection, and 5 for the machine's internal temperature. After a while without input, the machine will return to the normal menu.
Tips to keep in mind:
* This only works for Coke machines, which may sell products such as Barq's Root Beer, Sprite, Dasani, Evian, Fanta, Fresca, Frutopia, Powerade, Hi-C, Minute Maid, Nestea, Odwalla, Mr. Pibb, Planet Java, Power Ade, Seagram's Ginger Ale, Simply Orange, Sparkletts, or Tab in addition to Coke and Diet Coke.
* In general, these are the only options you can access without having the door unlocked and open. Different machines may list these options in somewhat different formats, so experiment a bit to learn what each new one does.
* If you need to exit the menu quickly (i.e. when you just can't wait another second to buy an ice cold Coke) press the change (coin return) button. This will normally quit the menu.
* On some machines, holding the coin return button will display the machine's inner temperature.
* Vending machine owners or service people have the option to change the access sequence from 4231 to some other combination of buttons, but they rarely do. This is probably because having one code makes it easier for anyone to service all the machines along a route. It may also be because the information you can access through the external menu with the door closed is limited and fairly harmless.
* There are several videos available on the internet that show people using this hack. Many claim to be able to change prices or get a free drink, but the videos don't actually show them doing so.
* In order to get to the same menu in a machine that sells Pepsi products, simply enter 1,3,2,4. All the menu options with be the same. (This does not seem to work on all Pepsi machines)
* This might also work on some Coke vending machines that have a numeric keypad instead of buttons for specific drinks. Enter in the Coke code as usual, and you'll get to the sales menu!
Hack into Windows XP with a password
How to Bypass a Windows XP Password Without any Programs:
Heres another way to hack:
Ever forgotten a windows xp password? Well, now you can have the assurance of being able to reset the password without previously knowing a the password. This works for any account with a windows xp computer that's not booted off a network.
1. Get physical access to the machine. Remember that it must have a CD or DVD drive.
2. Go to http://ebcd.pcministry.com/ and download the disc ISO in the pro version.
3. Download the file and then burn the ISO onto a blank disc using an ISO writer or CD burner such as nero or UltraISO. This creates the EBCD bootable disc. This also has many other tools.
4. After you have the disk, enter the bios and make sure that the first boot drive is the CD or DVD ROM. Chances are it already is.
5. Boot from the disk. It should automatically load the main screen, but if it asks you to press any key to boot from the CD, do so.
6. After it has booted, choose option number 5, the password recovery. This will guide you through a set of steps and instructions, and if you don't know otherwise, just press enter and it will use the default options, which will work just fine.
7. When you get to the list of users, choose the user whose password needs to be reset. Follow the instructions that the program gives you, such as type in the user name, and put the password in as the * key to just blank the password. This is much more successful than changing the password through this program.
8. Once this is done, make sure that you write the changes to the hive and SAM files (an option the program will ask you about upon exiting).
9. Reboot the computer and take the cd out before the computer boots from it again.
10. Log in as that user (it will have no password if you just blanked it).
11. You can now create a password for that user.

Hack Gmail
A brief explanation as to how to make the Gmail Notifier open Gmail using SSL instead of normal HTTP. The steps should be pretty self-explanatory from the pictures included.
1. Close Gmail Notifier.
2. Copy gnotify.exe and rename to copy to gnotify.exe.BAK (safety first)

3. Open vitualdub, and then open the hex editor from Tools menu -> Hex editor...

4. In the hex editor, go to File -> Open, and browse to gnotify.exe (should be in C:\Program Files\Google\Gmail Notifier\).
5. Select gnotify.exe
6. De-select "Open as Read Only"

7. Use Ctrl+F and type http://mail.
8. Hit Enter, and you will see the URL that gnotify uses (the https:// one, not the https:// one above it, that seems to be just for logging in.)

9. Place your cursor on the colon (:) right after the "http" (again, not after "https") and just start typing.
10. Type out s://mail.google.com/mail/ which will reduce the number of periods between /mail/ and ?.u, but that's OK.
